Easy activities to do with kids using strong glue

Different elements can be assembled to create a colorful graphic composition, using a glue stick. Here we have chosen collage or pasting activities that are easy to do with children.

First activity: A card decorated with flowers, attached with strong children’s glue
By superimposing flower patterns and colours, the child creates a 3D card with the most beautiful effect.
Materials needed:
Colored sheets of card stock
- lead pencil .
- scissors
- Cardboard
- Glitter glue .
- Small shiny beads or buttons.
- Glitter glue for projects and artwork
Activity steps
1. Cut a circle in the cardboard sheet of the color you choose with a diameter of about 20 cm, and another smaller circle in another color.
2. Glue the smaller circle to the middle of the larger circle, so that this part is behind the card, and will be used to write a small note.
3. Fold the squares of paper into 4, then in half to get a triangle, then cut one end round or pointed, and when you open the fold you will get a beautiful flower.
4. Form many flowers of different colors and sizes.
5. Now it's time to glue. Glue all these flowers in a beautiful way using strong glue intended for children (glue them to the front side of the large circle).
6. Add some glitter to some flowers with glitter glue.
7. In the center of each flower you can attach a glitter bead of your choice using glitter art project glue in a fine tube.
8. Remember the small circular paper that we glued behind the big circle? Write whatever nice phrase you want on it for the person you want to give this card to.
Activity 2: Ice cream-shaped cards
We will prepare beautiful ice cream cones, so you can find out:
Art supplies:
The same supplies as before, but we will not need beads. We will also need a ruler and colored pencils. Today we have chosen for you the wonderful brand Stabilo .
It is essential to print on strong glue to collect and attach the shapes. You can use high-quality ROCO glue .
Activity steps:
- Cut as many cones as possible (elongated triangle shape), to make an ice cream cone.
- Using a ruler, draw lines on the cones (or a grid to give the illusion of an ice cream cone) with Stabilo colored pencils, I advise you to choose orange.
- Cut circles from colored papers to form ice cream.
- Then glue them to the back of the cone using strong children's glue. Shape them on top of each other so that we glue 3 circles in different colors to each cone.
- Now draw flower leaves on colored paper (choose one color) and then cut them out. On each sheet you will write the name of a friend.
- Using a tube of glitter glue, draw colorful sugar pieces onto the ice cream cups.
- The shape is now ready to paste on a wall or to give as a gift to the friend whose name you wrote on it.
